Well, my sleep is jacked. I’m having a hell of a hard time falling asleep, and then once I do I sleep for 10 hours. And I sleep hard, like nothing wakes me up, definitely not my alarm. I woke up a few times last night, to go to the bathroom or just because, and each time I was so tired I fell right back to sleep after I glanced at the clock. I don’t know if it’s insomnia, or what. But I’m about over it. I wake up almost as tired as I was when I went to bed. OTC sleep aids don’t help – they either don’t work or they give me nightmares. The nightmare aspect is one I don’t want to risk. I have trazadone, but that tends to put me into a coma so I’m disinclined to take it when I have to be at work the next day. Sadly, I have to be at work early until I’m off on Thursday, so that’s not an option. I mean, I woke up this morning and thought it was Monday and I had totally slept through Sunday.
Let’s get down to this past week.
- Weight ended up pretty much where it started, with some ups and downs throughout the week, but at least there’s no net gain. I need to stick to the plan because it does work, as much as it does suck sometimes.
- Workouts were good. At the beginning of the run I can run for a solid minute, with intervals running at 45 seconds each time. So there’s definite improvement going forward.
- Obviously with not being on vacation I wasn’t nearly as social this week as I was last. Not a lot going on socially next week, either. And that’s fine. I have one friend in town that I want to see, just need to get in touch with her and schedule something.
Overall it wasn’t a bad week. Work was good this week. Relationships are good. I’m just tired.
